Abstract

Ergonomics Management (EM) is a concept and process under development for those companies of a Supply Chain (SC) in the search to evaluate it integrally and holistically. Thus, collaborative practices (CPr) are key to improving efficiency and productivity and preventing and evaluating ergonomic risks. This research aims to determine the best CPr in the SC for EM. For this purpose, a literature review was developed. A digital questionnaire with Likert-type questions on CPr was designed and answered by a group of experts from Latin America. Finally, a descriptive analysis was performed. As a result, the questionnaire comprised two constructs (suppliers and customers) and 12 items. The analysis of the responses of 34 experts established that the best CPr, according to the highest degree of agreement among them, are the management commitment, planning, and sharing experiences of risk factors, preventive actions, and control between companies. In conclusion, those practices that contribute to the evaluation of EM through exchanging information and creating ergonomics knowledge among SC members were determined and may improve its performance and employees’ wellness.
