Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the pattern of revealed comparative advantage of the products produced in the mining and manufacturing sectors of the state of Chihuahua during the period 2007-2015. The results show that the revealed comparative advantage of the manufacturing industry is positively correlated with the rela-tive performance of exports in the US market. This is because in recent years the entity has shown a trend towards the production and export of these products. The analysis of the exports of these sectors by the Revealed Comparative Advantage Index shows the comparative advantage in the performance, and the productive and commercial competi-tiveness. Thus, the productive and commercial performance of the prod-ucts exported to the United States from the mining and manufac-turing sectors of the state of Chihuahua during the period 2007-2015 is evaluated.
