The daily environment, the kitsch aesthetic and the relationship with design
Main Article Content
Abstract
Some graphic design products seem to reflect the daily environment build by human beings. Home is the first place modified by people according their aesthetic perception. The kitsch aesthetic is in the decoration of homes, because this conception requires less effort for being learned and constructed. The researchers found that usually there are five groups of objects in homes: religious, mystics, evocative, naturals and useful. After an analysis appears an order, a logical arrangement, an agreement in color and saturation. Which means the first idea about a chaotic organization disappears after a deep analysis. On the other hand, the front page of some show business magazines in Mexico presents a similar composition found in houses, not only in the grouping but in the variety and the different quality of the images and objects.
