Business education in Entrepreneurship Intentions: instrument validation in business students from Tamaulipas, Mexico

Entrepreneurs are of essential importance in societies economic development, therefore knowing and understanding the factors that impact entrepreneurial intentions is of utmost importance. The objective of this research is to determine the success factors that impact entrepreneurial intentions in university students of business careers in northeastern Mexico. An instrument was applied to 141 students, to conduct a factorial analysis with the support of the statistical software SPSS version 24. Results show five main factors: business education, intentions, perceived behavioral control, attitudes and at the end, subjective norms. Findings allow better perception of the factors that influence the entrepreneurial intentions in university students and can contribute to the creation and design of more appropriate business training programs that promote this activity.
