As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, is not under consideration by any other journal.
  • Whenever possible, the DOI is provided for electronic journal articles, if the DOI is not available ,do not include the URL. For Internet queries provide URLs and in parentheses day of month and year of consultation
  • The text follows the elements and format template that appears in the tab "Publish".
  • The references at the end of the paper follow APA 7th ed. standards.
  • IMPORTANT: REMOVE YOUR PERSONAL DATA FROM THE WORD FILE.
  • Remember to add all the authors. Each one must have his or her ORCID number and corresponding individual registration on the OJS platform.

  • Remember that in the case of co-authored documents, the author who provides the archive of the manuscript will act as the Corresponding author. It is the author with whom Nóesis will maintain contact during the process of publication of the article. He is also the one who assumes the responsibility of keeping the rest of the co-authors informed.

  1. The works to be presented in Noesis must be original and unpublished. They should not include more than three authors. The submission of articles that have already been published in another language, similar articles published by the same authors, articles with an irrelevant contribution, or articles whose results have been published will not be accepted.
  2. The author in charge of uploading the article, when applicable, must enter all the metadata of his co-authors into the OJS platform. You must indicate who will be the corresponding author.
  3. Articles must be in-depth (research results).
  4. Papers must be submitted in Spanish.
  5. The works must meet the following requirements:
  6. Enter the title of the work on the cover (short, concise, in English and Spanish).
  7. A summary of the content no longer than 250 words, written in English and Spanish. The summary must contain a brief explanation of the purpose of the research, the methodology followed and the main results obtained.
  8. Keywords from the text in English and Spanish. There must be 5 keywords per article.
  9. Submit your document using the template for authors.
  10. The length of the articles must be between 10 and 25 pages.
  11. The charts and graphs must be prepared in Excel for Windows, indicating the name of each one of them (deliver everything in one file and use the tabs to identify a chart or graph). Likewise, the tables and graphs must appear in the Word file in the corresponding part. Verify that charts, graphs, tables or figures are self-made. The reuse of third-party materials is not accepted.
  12. The citations and references must follow the style proposed in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA) in its 7th edition.
  13. Once the editorial process has begun, the inclusion or withdrawal of authors will not be accepted, except for justified exceptions.

  15. The authors of an accepted and published article agree to record an explanatory video that will be used to encourage reading and comply with the principle of social appropriation of knowledge.
  16. Every article proposed for review and possible publication must cite at least one article published in noesis, this to encourage the use of our content.
  17. An author can only publish once a year in the journal, either as lead author or co-author.
  18. If you use artificial intelligence tools to write your research report, you should cite it in the document.
