Impacto del liderazgo transaccional en el rendimiento operativo

Resumen

En este artículo se examina el impacto del liderazgo transaccional en el rendimiento operativo, teniendo como variable mediadora la satisfacción laboral en la industria manufacturera en Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, México. Se realizó una revisión de literatura sobre liderazgo transaccional, rendimiento operativo y satisfacción laboral para generar un cuestionario que fue aplicado a la industria maquiladora. Se obtuvieron 165 respuestas válidas al cuestionario, las cuales fueron analizadas mediante un modelo de ecuaciones estructurales basado en mínimos cuadrados parciales para validar tres hipótesis que relacionan las variables. El principal hallazgo que se encontró fue en la satisfacción laboral, donde se determina por el impacto que es la principal variable para obtener mayores niveles de rendimiento operativo, de forma independiente y mediadora, por lo cual la implicación práctica es implementar estrategias de desarrollo profesional y laboral dirigidas al trabajador para incrementar su satisfacción y así aumentar los beneficios sustanciales para la empresa.
