Hacia un modelo de la conducta emprendedora en Bolivia

Resumen

A diferencia de abordajes primordialmente económicos, los enfoques conductuales son escasamente utilizados para explicar las altas tasas de emprendimiento en países latinoamericanos. En este trabajo se busca demostrar que la estructura conceptual de estos modelos aporta a la comprensión del comportamiento emprendedor en Bolivia. Mediante un modelo logístico se concluye que las percepciones individuales afectan el comportamiento de los  emprendedores. Aquello que la sociedad considera positivo influye en la intención de iniciar un negocio, y ponerlo en marcha depende en particular de un optimismo presente entre los jóvenes educados con cierto respaldo económico. Se observa, además, que persistir en el mercado tiene mayor probabilidad entre quienes son mayores y carentes de educación.
