Focus and Scope

•NovaRua, as a semestral academic scientific journal, has a its main objective to open an open space for scientific production diffusion in the Business Administration and related areas, as an opportunity for resarch/professors fron diverse High Education Institutions to transmit their research results.

Peer Review Process

Manuscript reception does not imply an obligation to publish. After an initial review by the journal´s editor in chief, in relation to the feasibility of the manuscript, it will be submitted to a double-blind peer review. All reviewers are elected based on their professional academic quality. Opinions are sended within a 30 working-day period.

The journal´s editorial committee is very strict regarding plagiarism. The journal considers that taking ideas or works from others without giving them proper credit is unfair and dishonest. Plagiarism is to copy a paragraph from another author´s manuscript, or from another author's previous publication, without giving apropiate recognition. The editorial committee has the authority to stop the review process of an article if it suspects minor o major plagiarism, even to cancel the publication process, in order to prevent further complaints from the plagiarism victim.

The journal uses conventional internet search engines to monitor plagiarism, particularly Ithenticate.

Open Access Policy

The Journal grants immediate access to its content, based in its principle of offering persons free access to research that contribute to a wider and better global knowledge interchange.

Users could read, download, copy, distribute, print, search of link all complete texts from the Journal´s articles.

Likewise, the Journal do not requires any payment for Article Processing Charges, nor for Article Submission Charges,

Journal History

NovaRua emerged, in 2005 as a print version, as a need to transmit the resarch products from the academic community, specially from the Administrative Sciences Department. Its electronic version born in 2010. In 2012, the journal´s ISSN was obtained.
